just a little gnome that hangs on the side of a pot. i added a texture.

i have a kind of funny gnome story...had a gnome in the back yard for a few years and it just got old, faded, cracked and tired looking. so it went to rest in an overgrown median in the neighborhood. after about a week it was gone. in the meantime, i keep noticing something by the neighbors front window ~ at first i thought it was a hosta blooming ~ but last week it dawned on me ~ it's that darn gnome sitting on the windowsill!!. so now every time i walk into the kitchen my eye is drawn too it. one man's trash is another man's treasure, huh?

summer is here. sad that spring is over. i'm not a big fan of summer ~ i don't like to sweat. plants weren't ready either, lots of wilting going on today so i had to break out the sprinkler. tried a super fast shutter speed, wasn't thrilled with the shot so tried an hdr effect for fun. :)
